Some reasons not to vote Democrats back in control of the U.S. Congress... and some Florida Republican candidates who are worthy of your vote...
The above are just a few of the critical reasons why PelicanPost, posting from Jacksonville, Florida, is providing its opinion editorial endorsment of the following Florida 2006 candidates...
Republican Charlie Christ for Governor of Florida
Republican Katherine Harris for U.S. Senate
Republican Bill McCollum for Florida Attorney General
Republican Tom Lee for Florida Chief Financial Officer
Republican Charles Bronson for Florida Agriculture Commissioner
Republican Joe Negron - to bring integrity and honor back to Foley's vacated U.S. House seat (Votes cast for the name Mark Foley on the ballot will be credited only to Joe Negron, who disapproves of Foley's past behaviors as much as you and I do.)
Republican U.S. Representative Ander Crenshaw - to remain in Jacksonville area U.S. House district seat he now holds
Republican John Peyton, current Mayor, for Mayor of Jacksonville/Duval County
As you might have guessed, northeast Florida is a strongly Republican area of the state, as is almost all of north Florida. And with our mushrooming population growth, we're in a much better position to give already heavily-populated liberal S. Florida some hot competition.
