Democrats' new campaign message was held until just the right day... after the deadline for removing Foley's name from the FL ballot...

...a sleight of character move coordinated with their "old media" allies.

Their end of September "surprise" may well end up surprising them with a big November 7 backlash as compensation for a super-dirty trick---compounded by their hypocritical calling for Denny Hastert's head, when they didn't call for Tip O'Neill's or any other Democrat Speaker of the House's head in much worse Democrat scandals (read about them here and here).

The Dems' "tar-all-Republicans-with-one-brush" message doesn't sound like a winning campaign message or strategy to me... Especially when it comes out which Democrats knew what... when they knew it... how long they held the story... and how they timed its release for maximum damage.

And how long they left under-age Congressional pages in danger of being hit upon or solicited by deviant Congressmen.

Seewhuddumsayin'...?

(Hat tip to Signe Wilkinson for political 'toon.)
