One of the main reasons for the U.S. State Department's new Office of Iran Affairs....
Not having the popular support of the people, he rules and builds up Iran's nuclear development program through force, with the support of the extremist Mullah's of Iran's theocratic authoritarian government.
The majority of Iran's people are of a very young median age and many of them identify with the West and are yearning for democracy and the right to live in freedom.
U.S. Farsi-speaking radio media are already reaching the people of Iran---but more needs to be done in the areas of internet access and Farsi-speaking television programming for that targeted audience, in addition to more radio access.
Soooo...., it looks as if the State Department's new Office of Iran Affairs is preparing to be Mad, Mad Mahmoud's un-asked-for and and un-pluggable "Typhoid Mary"---to successfully keep him off-balance and un-plugged.
Hey...., you can't fault us for tryin' to pull th' plug on Iran's wigged-out rulers. We can't just insert thumb an' sit on it forever, don'cha'see?
Hat tip to Vic Harville for political 'toon.
