Hello, all of you out there in the blogosphere.... Check out the petition to NBC calling for the firing of W.H. press correspondent David Gregory....!

Now in his very own perfect blogstorm, tantrum-throwing and suspiciously not in control of his mouth and sobriety, NBC's immature and inappropriately behaving David Gregory has gone beyond his usual making-himself-the-story when the story wasn't about him. He now is a discrete story---a story all his very own---in which he is the onliest main character and story-line.

In the whole tacky process, he has turned journalism on its head.... as he has frequently used the White House press briefing as a forum for beating up on W.H. Press Secretary Scott McClellan and trying to embarass the Bush Administration.

Add to that his recent telephone interview aired on the Don Imus radio show, where Gregory spoke in what appeared to be an either drunk or stoned condition and finished proving to the entire world what a navel-gazing, self-absorbed and out-of-control jerk he is.

Who's embarassed now??

There is a petition online requesting that NBC fire David Gregory. You can read and sign it at exposetheleft, where you can also read some great comments from others and/or add your own comment that can be read at the site---after you sign the petition.

You will also find another interesting article about the whole matter at humaneventsonline, that includes the following:

"The petition asks NBC Chairman Bob Wright to immediately fire Gregory or ask him to resign. Video of Gregory on Imus’ program -- Imus accused him of being drunk -- is prominently displayed on the website. There is also a clip of Gregory at the White House briefing, where he yelled at McClellan about the handling of Vice President Cheney’s accidental shooting...."

This is the kind of stuff nobody makes up. It just drops in your lap from somewhere in poetic justice heaven.... Heh...!
