THE MINUTEMEN PROJECT CITIZENS WATCH GROUP TAKES THE WATCH TO E. TENNESSEE....

Why Tennessee? you ask.... Because there are companies in Tennessee who hire illegal immigrants, which makes the state, like many others, part of the illegal alien-friendly magnet that attracts illegal alien populations and protects them---all in pursuit of cheap labor. Cheap labor at the price of national security and safety of the American people and at the price of our economy---federal, state and local---at all levels being drained by the illegal alien invasion.

The Minutemen need to come here to Florida, also, and to many other states. Or, we need to form home-grown citizen watch groups to stop this flagrant violation of U.S. border, immigration, labor, and wage & hour laws---and insist that our government do its job and enforce existing laws to protect our country and all of its legal citizens.

We're not against legal immigration.... we're against illegal entry and working in this country in contravention of our laws. We're against our government not following the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution.

"They work[ed] on the U.S border in Arizona, as part of a volunteer army called the Minutemen. Soon, the brigade will be in Tennessee with a mission of catching companies that hire illegal immigrants." If people are hiring them, they're usually paid under the table. They're not getting any workmen’s comp," said David Heppler of Arizona Border Watch. Those behind the effort say volunteers will patrol local businesses, looking for employers that are hiring people who've illegally crossed the border....

Some in East Tennessee say these kinds of tactics amount to begging for trouble." I worry they'll come up here and start some kind of chaos," says Hispanic activist Luis Crespo.... "Morristown, Hamblen County is blessed because we have people from all over the country, the industries come from around the globe," said Crespo...."

Despite the objections, the Minutemen are moving forward. They hope to have as many as 600 volunteers in just two months...."
